Grindhouse DVD Report

Last night I watched the two Grindhouse movies, as they where intended to be seen, back to back! So how was the Grindhouse Experience?

First up was Planet Terror, which was a better movie overall, no slow parts. This started off with a fantastic trailer for an unmade movie Machete, which would be awesome if made as well as the trailer!

Quentin Tarantino was in both movies, a psychotic soldier in the first movie, and I'm sure you can guess what happens to him! In Death Proof he is a bartender!

The titles to Death Proof have been changed, its original title was Thunder Bolt, this is of course all part of the Grindhouse experiance and is intentional!

The last 30 minutes made this a good movie, but the first hour was very slow, too much time was spent on soap style character building a-la-Russel T Davies!
