In Mimic 2, 3 men are discovered with their faces removed and strung up in New York Citys high-tension wires. Detective Klaski (Bruno Campos) stumbles upon a link; Each of the men knew entomologist Remy (Alix Koromzay), a teacher at a high school who becomes an unlikely suspect until Klaski witnesses the shape-shifting creature stalking Remy - its an intelligent six-foot-tall insect with the face of its previous victim - and it now considers Remy its mate!
Remy, Klaski, and two students are trapped inside the school as the creature hunts them down. Meanwhile the military prepares to fumigate the school.
Mimic 2 isn't as bad as reviewers have treated it, I enjoyed the movie! It can get silly in places but not a bad play on aliens meets insects!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
