The year is 2018, there are no wars, no crime, there is only Rollerball! Ruthless corporations reign supreme, and this vicious and barbaric sport is the only outlet for the anger and frustrations of the masses.
Jonathon E (James Caan) has been the champion player for the last decade, but now is too talented for his own good. The corporation has taken away his wife (Maud Adams) but they can’t take away his soul - he is told to retire, or else... but what does he have to lose?
Rollerball was made in 1975, and must say its still pretty good, on the downside the lack of blood and gore is unrealistic, but its well acted and good story too! I intend to re-watch the remake soon!
