WillardStiles (Crispin Glover) is an awkward loner who lives with his frail mother Henrietta (Jackie Burroughs) in an old house. Trapped between home and work at a dreary company formerly owned by his dead father, Willard leads a dull and routine existence until he befriends Socrates, a white rat living in the basement.
This leads to an affinity with the ever-growing rodent population, lead by Ben, and soon discovers the rats will do anything he wants. Willard is pushed too far by his bullying boss, Frank Martin (R. Lee Ermey), so he decides to use his four-legged companions to take revenge!
Willard is an awesome movie, all characters are just right, and Ben, the rats leader is menacing! I'd never heard of this before buying it, I'm very pleased I did!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
