In The Life Of David Gale, David Gale (Kevin Spacey) a philosophy professor and anti-death-penalty advocate, winds up on death row in Texas for raping and murdering his academic and protest-movement colleague Constance Harraway (Laura Linney). Bitsey Bloom (Kate Winslet), an investigative reporter from New York, finds the last-minute evidence that will exonerate him, and who is the mysterious man following Bitsey araoud? What does he know?
There are some silly moments, like Bitseys rented car overheating and the climatic moment of the movie, so she has to run through what appears to be the entire state of Texas in 5 minutes!
Overall In The Life Of David Gale is a good movie, it keeps you watching, and look out for the major twist right at the end, I didn't see that coming!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
