Not Only But Always... is a made-for-TV drama profiling the true-life friendship between Peter Cook (Rhys Ifans) and Dudley Moore (Aidan McArdle), who met as undergraduates in 1960, and became international stars as half of the four-man comedy show Beyond the Fringe.
This was the beginning of a riotous double act that redefined comedy, but their perfectly matched comic genius in public, left a collaboration roiled with tension and resentment from Cooke.
Being a big fan of Pete & Dud, I was pleased to find Not Only But Always... DVD in my local Poundshop :) This is a very good drama, but you really feel like yelling Be nice to Dud at Peter Cook!
Sorry, no trailer...
