In Badazzled, Elliot Richards (Brendan Fraser), a boring computer programmer is in love with Alison Gardner (Frances OConnor), a lovely co-worker who doesn't know he exists. To gain Alisons affections, he strikes up a deal with the Devil (Elizabeth Hurley), a sexy, seductive and wicked woman who gives Elliot seven wishes in exchange for his soul!
The Devil does her best to trip-up Elliot, giving him all seven wishes, but each of which has a floor. The wishes include becoming a Colombian drug lord, a super-sensitive pushover, an NBA star with more brawn than brain, a gay author, a rock star, and even Abraham Lincoln!
Brendan Frazer proves he can act, playing very different characters, and Elizabeth Hurley looks hot too! Overall Bedazzled is not my favourite movie, but still an enjoyable romp!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
