In the Quest we find Christopher Dubois (Jean-Claude Van Damme), a 1920s street criminal on the run from the police, becomes mixed up with gun smugglers, pirates and then enters an ancient, underworld martial arts competition, known as the Ghan-gheng, in the mysterious Lost City of Tibet.
Conman Lord Edgar Dobbs (Roger Moore) buys him, sells him, and generally hinders him on his adventures!
The Quest is a very odd movie, the first half is very good, the fight section is boring, and then it just stops with a what happened to who narration. This could have been a great movie if made correctly!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
