In The Medusa Touch, John Morlar (Richard Burton) a famous novelist, is attacked in his London flat and left for dead, then taken to hospital in a coma. Detective Brunel (Lino Ventura) comes across Morlars journal, which leads him to his Psychiatrist, Doctor Zonfeld (Lee Remick).
She discloses her patient is obsessed with disaster, and believes he has powerful telekinetic power to make aeroplanes crash, buildings crumble, start raging fires and unleash mighty floods. But can he do this from his coma, and just how powerful is he?
Burton really carries The Medusa Touch, its his acting that makes it a good movie! Overall not bad but gets slow in places.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
