In The Net, Angela Bennett (Sandra Bullock) is a computer analyst who spends her days tracking down viruses and bugs, and her nights at home chatting to other internet users. Content with her reclusive existence, her life is soon turned upside down when a top secret disc that allows access to any private network arrives in the mail.
Caught up in a murderous web of corruption and conspiracy, and pursued by a force that will stop at nothing including murder and deleting all traces of her existence, Angela is forced to flee for her life.
The Net is now quite dated, high-tec computer graphics are the old Shareware classic Wolfenstien 3D, whats more the information on computer screens is rather silly and just wrong, you get the idea! But its still a good story and an enjoyable movie, still well worth watching!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
