Silver Hawk combines martial arts and super hero genres, badly, and results in an awful attempt at a movie!
Concealing her true identity, model Lulu Wong (Michelle Yeoh) is the costumed hero of the title, and when a scientist is kidnapped by a larger than life geek, Mr Wolfe (Luke Goss), who wants to use the new device he has invented to rule the planet, Lulus two worlds collide, in a race to stop the madman.
Thats the plot, and to be honest Silver Hawk was like having teeth pulled! I found the entire escapade very boring and ended up using the laptop to surf while it played. To me its a cut down version of Power Rangers, but slightly (and only slightly) less silly
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
