Red Dragon is the prequel to Silence of the Lambs, and ends right at the beginning of that film!
FBI agent Will Graham (Edward Norton) is called out of early retirement to catch a serial killer known as The Tooth Fairy, but Graham must let Dr Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) inside his head to get his help. Lecter is already in prison and appears to begrudgingly assist, but also is in contact with the Tooth Fairy and is manipulating events, leading into serious trouble for Will and his family.
Red Dragon is a great movie, an excellent prequel! Recommended!
