In 7 Mummies, 6 escaped convicts, having to cross the desert to Mexico, find a gold medallion covered with unknown symbols. An Apache (Danny Trejo) they meet tells of the lost Spanish gold, torn from the heart of the Guachapa Mountains centuries ago, and guarded by seven Jesuit priests who died and were mummified to protect the Tumacacori treasure forever.
Lured by the promise of incredible wealth, the group stumbles into an old frontier town, but soon discover taking the gold won't be so easy. Forced to confront the towns mysterious sheriff, Blade (Andrew Bryniarski), the convicts must also battle the walking dead remains of the towns population, who where slaughtered by the seven mummies, willing to spill anyones blood to protect their horde!
7 Mummies is one of those movies that belongs on late night cable, I suppose the acting and film making isn't too bad, but the story is so predictable, you quickly become bored!
Here is the trailer (the subtitles aren't in the movie :) )
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
