In U-571, its World War 2, American reconnaissance agents learn that a German submarine is sinking and it carries an Enigma Machine, the special coding device that allows high-level Axis forces to send messages that can't be read by the Allies, so obtaining a working device would be invaluable for the Allied war effort.
A US submarine is sent out to steal the machine from the Germans, however, German command have already picked up the distress signal and are en-route to rescue their comrades. What follows is a lot of action, and Hollywoods version of a true story!
U-571 is another great movie, I really enjoyed this! Recommended.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
