In The Banger Sisters, Suzette (Goldie Hawn) is an ex-groupie who, with her tattoos, boob job and wild partying, is determined to live in her past, forever. But when she loses her bar job, Suzette begins to think her rock chick days are numbered and embarks on a road trip to Phoenix to seek her old friend and fellow groupie Vinnie (Susan Sarandon).
Vinnie is transformed from a trendy rock goddess into a prim, beige-wearing suburban wife and mother, with no plans for a trip down memory lane, but the arrival of Suzette throws Vinnies organized life into disarray. Her daughters and husband know nothing of her past, and with Suzette wanting to party like they did before, Vinnie has to answer some increasingly tricky questions.
The Banger Sisters is an attempt at a good idea, and it works very well, recommended!
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
