In A dirty little Business (AKA Merchants of Venus), Alex (Michael York), a Russian immigrant arrives in the USA to discover the American dream in Len Richmonds look at Americas preoccupation with sex. But despite Alexs best efforts, the only job he can find is at a sex-toy factory. When elderly factory owner Eppy (Nancy Fish) takes pity on the struggling newcomer and introduces him to has-been adult film star Catherine (Prunella Gee) in hope of making a match. Andy Bell from Erasure is in it briefly, as is Beverly D'Angelo.
First, who put a romantic comedy into my DVD collection? OK its not quite a romantic comedy, its more a straight to video B movie, with a budget of tuppence, and its pretty bad! I understand there is a longer cut about with more fruity scenes, but its so poor, I'm pleased this wasn't it!
Overall dull! Yawn!
