In the Martins we meet Robert Martins (Lee Evans) is a man with no job, no money, no respect, his son is bullied at school, and his 14-year-old daughter is pregnant. Hes staked everything on winning a dream holiday in the local newspaper - but has just heard that someone else has won, plus he has been unfaithful to his wife (Kathy Burke), and her husband is about to come out of prison - then things have a turn for the worse!
I really enjoyed the Martins, but I also feel the characters didn't really go anywhere, there were no feel-good moments, but then again I suppose life for some people doesn't have any! Its still worth watching though!
