In One Hour Photo, because of his loneliness, photo developer Sy Parrish (Robin Williams) has a harmless obsession with the private lives of long-time customers, the Yorkins. Through over a decade of developing their snapshots, Sy has deluded himself into being a member of their family. But the fine line between fantasy and reality begins to blur as he tries to inject himself into their lives.
But when the Yorkins face a crisis that threatens to tear them apart, Sy is driven by a need to preserve his picture-perfect family. Then his link to them is cut when fired by Bill Owens (Gary Cole), an act that begins his meltdown, and his obsession becomes anything but harmless!
One Hour Photo is a good movie, Williams is great and deserves to be seen by all! Recommended.
I collect DVDs, we have over 3,000 titles in the house now! I buy most from Car Boot Sales,Poundshops, markets, sales, and greatly reduced from the internet, but I only buy what I want to watch! I do a short report when I watch them, I got rid of almost 800 titles at Christmas 2010 (low score, duplicates, ones I'd never watch etc.) I continue to wade through them, and appear to be buying slightly less, but still watching like mad :)
is sounds like a creepy film. robin is a really versitile actor.
